Senior School - Term 1, Week 7, 2019

Year 9 Parents Dinner
Thank you to the parents who attended this evening. It was great to see so many of you there. I trust that the night was both enjoyable and informative. Our keynote speaker, Collett Smart, gave an outstanding presentation on ‘Raising a Generation that love Technology’. The night provided great opportunity for parents to meet other parents of Year 9 students and to also meet the Year 9 Pastoral Care team. The night went extremely well and I want to thank all those who attended and also for those who provided feedback about the night.

Year 12 Examinations
Year 12 students will be undertaking their Mid Course Examinations this term. The exams will run from Thursday 28 March until Friday 5 April. Students are only required to attend school on days where they have exams.

If a student is absent from school, please either email the office: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or send a note to the Senior School Office on their return to school. Government regulations requires parents to advise the school of the reason their child was absent within seven (7) days or the absence is listed as unexplained on School Reports.

Extended Leave
A reminder that students are expected to attend school during the school terms and enjoy their holidays in the 14 weeks holiday time available. If it is necessary for your child to be absent from school for a period of more than five (5) days, it is essential that you apply for Extended Leave from the School. This needs to be a written request using the School’s application form which can be collected from Senior School office. Please note this is a government requirement.
