How to Succeed in Business...

2019 11 22 business week thumb 01Our Year 10 students took time from their classes to become involved in running a company in Business Week. This event aimed to inspire innovation and camaraderie in a weeklong challenge where each company creates a product from a choice of a fashion accessory, a sporting or leisure item or an electronic device.

The week really encouraged students to take on the competition whilst experiencing some of pressures in their teams- similar to the expectations and stresses from the business world. Students also learnt how Jesus helps us cope with stress and anxiety that is placed on our shoulders in many situations and focuses us towards living as He did; showing love, compassion and kindness in our dealings with other people.

LeviosAIR, led by Ava Assanti and Adrienne Bloom, took out first place after designing a phone case that lowers gravity and protects the user by reducing the impact when dropped.

Thank you to all the devoted speakers with our Business Week Staff- Mr Conway, Mr Jacques, Mrs Holdsworth, Mr Lai, Mr Swainson, Mrs Atkinson, Mr Chua, Mr Pearson and Miss Carruthers for making this week enjoyable. A big thanks to our tremendous Year 10 students by believing in their ideas and displaying a clear vision of their goals.
