Term 4, Week 8, 2018 - Devotion

Recently my husband and I spent a weekend away and stayed in a cabin in Murramarang Beachfront Nature Reserve. We knew that we would have a beachfront cabin. The view was wonderful and we were able to watch the changes in the ocean from our living room. Something that we didn’t expect was kangaroos walking past our front door. The kangaroos roam freely through this area. There were a number of joeys with their mothers. It was amazing to watch the mothers as they cared for their babies.

How often do you take time out in your busy life to just stop, look and appreciate the beauty of God’s creation? With the holidays coming up don’t take the natural beauty around you for granted. Make sure you take time just to sit appreciate it.

Psalm 136: 1-6
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.
to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.
who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.
who spread out the earth upon the waters,
His love endures forever.
