HSC Examinations Supervision and Presiding Officer

2017 hsc examsEach year the School works with the NSW Educations Standards Authority (NESA) who undertake the running of the HSC Examinations. NESA employs a Presiding Officer who has responsibility for ensuring that the examinations are conducted efficiently, and in keeping with relevant NESA policies and procedures. The Presiding Officer is responsible for the receipt of question papers, the administration of the examinations, the organisation of the work of supervisors and the dispatch of worked scripts. NESA places a number of restrictions on those who may apply for the position to ensure the integrity of the examinations, these include having a child or near relative sitting the HSC, being already employed by the School or tutoring students sitting the HSC.
