2018 Premier's Reading Challenge - starts 5 March

2017 premiers reading challengeThis challenge is an excellent way to support and encourage reading. The challenge for Junior School is to read thirty age-appropriate books before 31 August, and for Middle School to read twenty age-appropriate books before the same date. Five of these books can be free choice, but the remainder must be chosen from the official PRC book list.

Students who have completed the PRC in previous years can log in using the same username and password as last year.

As the challenge is mandatory for Middle School students, all new students will be provided with a username and password to log in to the PRC website.

The challenge is voluntary for Junior School students, so to join the competition parents need to request a special PRC username and password for their son or daughter. Parents need to keep the username and password safe, and then log in to the PRC website. It is easiest just to Google "PRC NSW" to find this. On the website you can download the booklist and then log all the books your child reads. Each child who reads the required number of books will receive a special official certificate in Term 4.

The PRC books in the school library are marked with special PRC stickers so you can easily find them.
