Middle School students do us proud at da Vinci Decathlon 2019!

2019 05 30 da vinci decathlon preview 0110 Academic Challenges, 8 Students in a team, 80 teams from across NSW competing, 1 day….
Mathematics, Science and English are a staple in our Middle School Curriculum but what about Cartography, Ideation or Code breaking?

In May, thirty-two Middle School students (one team for each grade) were selected to compete in the da Vinci Decathlon hosted by Knox Grammar. While their classmates were competing on the sporting field, these students competed in ten academic disciplines over the course of the day. The pace was frantic and the tasks challenging but our students were amazing!

I would like to thank our students for giving up their lunch times in the lead up to this competition and to the team of teachers who assisted them in preparing for this event. Mrs Baker, Mrs Driscoll, Mr Lees, Mrs Fulcher, Miss Estacio, Mr Tjandra, Mrs Luk, Miss Wise, Mr Swainson and Mr Lai, you are all amazing!
