99.5 - What a Great Year!

The highlight for me was definitely seeing friendships flourish amidst challenging times. We would share notes, encourage and pray for each other throughout the HSC, although we were competing against each other at school.

The most challenging part was undoubtedly time management. The workload in Year 12 was overwhelming so it was difficult to find a balance between school work, free time and spiritual life. However, the teachers in PHCS were a huge support in helping me to get through the HSC. Their willingness to help students in their own time, no matter if it was at lunch time, after school or even holidays, enabled me to deepen my understanding of content and maximise my potential.

The teachers were also great emotional and spiritual support and encouraged me through God's word and prayers. This year, I look forward to studying optometry at UNSW as well as undertaking casual tutoring to continue my passion for mathematics and science.
